Ronan Keating is up for joining a boyband supergroup with Take That’s Gary Barlow and Westlife’s Shane Filan.
Boyzone legend Keating tweeted his support for the mega move to the Irish Sun’s Twitter account after Gary Barlow floated the idea in our exclusive interview.

In response to our story, he Tweeted: “I’m In Gaz.”
And he later replied to Dan Wooton that the group “could be fun”.
This would be the ultimate boyband! @ShaneFilan, @donnyosmond, @ronanofficial, fancy teaming up with @GaryBarlow? https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/2547997/gary-barlow-reveals-who-would-feature-in-his-dream-line-up-as-he-takes-over-dan-woottons-bizarre-column/ …
Gary Barlow earlier said he wanted to work with singers from Boyzone, Westlife, New kids on the Block and The Osmonds.
He told Dan Wootton’s Bizarre colum: “I’d have to be in it.
“I’d be happy to share the limelight with the others but they’ll be plenty of competition for the lead vocals, that’s for sure.”
As well as Keating and Sligo man Filan, he named American singers Donny Osmond and Jordan Knight.
“New Kids on the Block are the reason we got put together as Take That so we’d need to pay homage,” he said about Knight
“The lead guy – and he still looks good. That’s why we need him in the band.
“Donny Osmond was the original boyband star.
“The Osmonds were huge. And Boyzone owe it all to The Osmonds too, their first hit Love Me For A Reason was a cover of the Osmonds.
“So I gotta go for him. There’s a top group right there.”
Westlife and Boyzone have had strong ties before this.
Ronan Keating helped manage Westlife for a time, and both bands were projects of Louis Walsh.
Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden have also gotten together to form Boyzlife.
