Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg Married: Couple Expands Family, See Adorable New Addition Here [VIDEO]
Find out about the couple’s new addition
They don’t have any intention of welcoming a baby together, but that isn’t stopping Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg from still expanding their family together!
The couple, who married in August 2014, are adopting an adorable new puppy together, news McCarthy shared on her Instagram page Wednesday, asking fans to help the couple name the pup when they take her home.
“Look who is joining the Wahlberg family on Saturday. I’m so excited. Got any cute ideas for a name for this dame?” She captioned a photo of the dog.
Fans immediately began responding with suggestions, including Juniper, Lucy, Jonnie, Charley, Smooch, Jersey and others.
Though fans were excited about the new addition, they shouldn’t get their hopes up for another, as McCarthy slammed those rumors early into the pair’s marriage, saying that they had no interest in having another baby and raising a child after they had both already gone through it with their other children (Wahlberg has two sons, Xavier, 23 and Elijah, 15 from his first marriage while McCarthy has son Evan, 14 from her own first marriage).
“When you work so hard and your kids are out of the diaper phase, out of the high chair and you get rid of all that stuff…to start over again? No way!” She told E! Back in 2015. “I want to go towards the light with my husband while we still can walk.”
The news of their new addition also comes at the same time that McCarthy has been in the headlines after she criticized Mariah Carey’s assertions that her performance at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve had been sabotaged. McCarthy, who co-hosts the annual event with Ryan Seacrest, slammed Carey’s claims on her radio show.
“I felt really bad for her, because it was that bad,” she said, “it was a complete train wreck, And like Donnie said, being in this business, I know what it’s like to have your prompter go out, I know what it’s like to have my inner ears go out, It’s scary, and it’s like your brain malfunctions and you’re on live TV. So I was like, you know what, I have sympathy for her. My sympathy stopped, however, the moment she accused Dick Clark productions of sabotaging her performance.”
“I was there for the past seven years watching band after band,” she continued. Taylor Swift rehearsing her balls off. Like I said, we rehearsed for four days, 10 hours a day. We have more sound checks, satellite checks, teleprompter checks, than any show down there. I promise you that.”
